- ➤ A tattoo parlor in Scranton is partnering with the revived Scranton Solidarity Project by donating part of today's tattoo sales to help the homeless. The charity provides hot meals and supplies each Saturday at the V spot bar and is seeking additional volunteers and donations (more details available). FOX 56

- ➤ Electric City Improv offers improv classes on New Year's Day where community members can try out comedy and creativity. The venue also hosts weekly shows—family-friendly at 7:30 p.m. and adult programs at 9—helping participants gain confidence and quick-thinking skills. FOX 56

- ➤ The Abington Police Department announced that Officer Scott Seigler (Badge No. 49), a 16-year veteran, died unexpectedly; colleagues remember him as a dedicated mentor and friend, and funeral arrangements are pending. FOX 56
