- ➤ Residents met Monday night at the Green Ridge Neighborhood Association to vote (with 15 families in attendance) on keeping a Biden banner on North Washington Avenue in front of his childhood home; 10 voted yes and 5 voted no amid debates over the message on military service recognition. FOX 56
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Throop Police Department now uses blue envelopes to help officers assist drivers with autism during traffic stops. Sponsored by Lehigh Valley Health Network and Jefferson Health, the program started a few days ago to better meet drivers’ needs. WNEP
- ➤ Drivers traveling through Main Ave near the Citywide Animal Clinic in Dickson City face delays due to utility work that has reduced the corridor to one lane — city officials say motorists should allow extra travel time or seek alternate routes. FOX 56
