- ➤ Scranton firefighters are holding a fundraising raffle for a handcrafted leather fire helmet (size large) in honor of longtime firefighter Mike Hales, with tickets costing $20; the drawing is set for March 1 and proceeds aid his family with rising expenses. FOX 56
- ➤ The Clarks Summit Festival of Ice will run from Friday, Jan. 30 to Sunday, Feb. 1 featuring live ice carving contests, photo opportunities, parades and community events at local venues including the Citizens Bank parking lot and churches. The Abington Journal
