- ➤ Restaurants in regional counties are competing in a French onion soup contest organized by Cliff Krajkovich of Gravity Restaurant + Bar through February, using QR codes and an online map for diners to vote, with winners receiving People’s and Judge’s Choice honors and a challenge to the lowest vote-getter. GOVERNMENT NEWS

- ➤ Tenor Health Foundation received state approval Wednesday for its pending acquisition of Moses Taylor, Regional, and Wilkes-Barre General hospitals from Commonwealth Health Systems in Northeast Pennsylvania.
