- ➤ Archbald 1, LLC asked for approval to build a 400-acre data center complex with 18 buildings at a Wednesday hearing at Valley View High School in Archbald. Local residents raised concerns about water, power and safety, and the next hearing will resume on March 19 at 5 p.m. FOX 56

- ➤ Author Brian Kincaid hosts book signings this weekend at Barnes & Noble in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. and at a Scranton historical society on Sunday at 2 p.m. as he discusses his novel about a notable Old Forge event (highlighting its community impact). WVIA

- ➤ A new state law now known as Act 2 of 2026 requires Pennsylvania schools to reintroduce cursive into the curriculum, a change officials say will boost fine motor skills and help students read historical documents. Rep. Dane Watro sponsored the measure. FOX 56
