Scranton's Department of Public Works has painted green traffic lines along the St. Patrick's Parade route, keeping a 35-year tradition alive.

The project gives downtown a festive look as the parade draws near.

On Monday night, the Muddy River Mystics held a meet-and-greet and rehearsal at Voodoo Brewing Company in Scranton where newcomers learned the group’s witch dance routine.

They will perform live on April 30 at Witch Dance United 2026 & join others in a celebration of tradition.

Fuel suppliers say diesel prices in Pennsylvania have jumped amid global oil market swings; D+C Fuel Sales owner Craig Keller noted prices rose from $4.10 to about $4.93 over the past month and he will adjust rates cautiously if costs do not drop tonight.
