- ➤ Throop Borough Council approved a 70-year deal for Keystone Sanitary Landfill to install a sewer line under local streets and route leachate to a treatment plant — neighbors remain concerned about potential utility disruptions and road quality as the deal sets a $200,000 annual fee. WNEP
- ➤ The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport announced plans to search for a new executive director after longtime director Carl Beardsley Jr. did not return from leave—interim director Stephen Mykulyn will manage daily operations until a replacement is named. WVIA
