  • Ninety-six landowners sold about 1,700 acres in Salem Township for a $500 million data center project near the Salem Nuclear Power Plant, with developers planning to begin construction fall.   • Gas prices statewide hit about $3.78 per gallon on March 19, marking the 21st consecutive day of increases amid global oil supply concerns. Local stations in the Scranton area charge around $3.41 per gallon — showing clear regional differences.  FOX 56

  • Drivers on I-81 in Lackawanna County face delays as PennDOT schedules maintenance between Exit 178 and Exit 191 from March 19 through April 3; crews will work daily from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. to clear debris and maintain the roadway.  FOX 56
