  • Abington Heights High School mock trial team is competing in the state final this weekend after winning a national title last year, and if they win they will advance to the national tournament in May in Arizona. The team consists of four returning seniors and many freshmen who have trained hard under coach Miss Bennett’s guidance.  WNEP

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Multiple counties in Pennsylvania—including Lackawanna—were under an elevated wildfire risk for March 27 due to weather conditions that allowed rapid fire spread. The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources provided the risk levels and urged residents to check updated weather alerts for safety.  PA Homepage
