- ➤ The Double “R” Twirlettes will host their 46th annual Twirl-a-Thon at the Viewmont Mall on Saturday, April 5 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. to raise money for St. Joseph's Center and aim to beat last year's $4,815 total as students collect donations during the free event. WNEP

- ➤ Today the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce and SLIBCO brokered the sale of 2.67 acres in Valley View Business Park to The Steel Supply Company. The firm will manufacture and ship steel parts from a new facility in Jessup and said it will work with local partners to boost industry—supporting targeted manufacturing growth in the area. - ➤ PennDOT warned that starting May 7th, passengers without a passport will not be able to board commercial flights unless they have a REAL ID, and only 26 percent of drivers have obtained one so far.
