Addy will complete her certifications before fully assisting children while the center observes Child Abuse Prevention month with a pinwheel display in downtown Scranton. WVIA

- ➤ Kendall Grabinski, a fifth grader at Lehman-Jackson Elementary in Luzerne County, earned national recognition for her excellent cursive writing by winning the Zaner-Bloser contest; she won $500 and a trophy while her school received a $1,000 voucher. - ➤ Today, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission employees and volunteers stocked Merli-Sarnoski Park in Lackawanna County with Brook Trout from Benner Spring State Fish Hatchery—releasing over 4.3 million trout into local waterways. Anglers need a state trout permit to fish in over 120 lakes and nearly 700 stream sections—with the season opening at 8 a.m. and running until Sept. 1. WVIA
