- ➤ Lackawanna County’s Electric City Trolley Museum now offers lower-cost entry for low-income families (eligible for SNAP) as part of Museums for All (a national program with over 1,450 museums), giving more locals access to cultural and educational outings. FOX 56
- ➤ Today, Wisteria, the student-run pop-up restaurant at Lackawanna College’s 409 on Adams, opens to offer Dreamers a magical spring experience with a wishing tree where guests write wishes. It will serve new dishes and drinks every Wednesday and Thursday at 5 p.m. until May 14—students create an immersive setting with floating candles and terrariums designed with Marywood University architecture students. - ➤ Pennsylvania residents who wish to vote in the primary election on May 20 must register by May 5 (voters must be 18, have been US citizens for at least one month, and have lived in their district for 30 days). Mail-in ballot applications must reach the county elections board by 5 PM on May 13. FOX 56
- ➤ Scranton residents need to update their driver's licenses or IDs to a Real ID before May 7th—starting then, all travelers 18 and older must use a TSA-approved form of identification to fly. FOX 56
