- ➤ Providers in Lackawanna County will host Start Strong Together Days of Action on April 11 at Riverside Elementary in Taylor, April 18 at The Wright Center in Scranton, and April 25 at Carbondale Elementary to connect families with free childcare, preschool programs, health screenings and behavioral support for young children. - ➤ Johnson College's Carpentry & Cabinetmaking Technology program hosted its annual auction Thursday evening at the college in Scranton to benefit the Children's Advocacy Center of NEPA — students showcased over 60 items including chessboards, tables, and benches.
