- ➤ Lackawanna County’s Electric City Trolley Museum is now open for the 2025 season and runs daily rides (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) with excursions at 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. It will also run to PNC Field for RailRiders games on select summer Sundays. PA Homepage

- ➤ Brigid Lawrence held an open house during First Friday and will soon open Friendly Alien Books on Wyoming Avenue in downtown Scranton. She worked on the project for two years and plans to offer both new and used books for children and adults. WVIA
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Community leaders and state Senator Dave Argall met with White Haven residents to discuss a plan to turn a state building — which costs $4 million a year — into housing for disabled and homeless veterans with room for 75 to 100 low income units.
