- ➤ Lackawanna County is restarting a GED program at the county prison using funds from inmate canteen accounts and help from Outreach Center in Scranton to let inmates earn a high school equivalency. The program—expected to start soon—will offer tutoring and test prep for inmates so they can build skills for a better future. PA Homepage

- ➤ The Shapiro Administration urged Pennsylvanians to prepare for a new REAL ID requirement needed for air travel starting May 7 — state officials visited the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport in Avoca to assist residents. Applicants can receive their REAL ID by mail in 15 days or visit one of 15 PennDOT locations for processing. FOX 56
