  • On Easter Sunday, Camelot Restaurant in Clarks Summit served about 260 people with a special menu as staff chose to work during the holiday. Volunteers at Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge walked, fed, and cleaned up for 27 dogs and a litter of seven puppies — ensuring the animals received proper care on the day.  FOX 56
  • Scranton's Greenhouse Project held a plant sale on Sunday at Nay Aug Park that raised funds for its free public programs. Visitors browsed locally grown bulb plants (including hyacinths, lilies and deck pots) that brightened the spring event.  WNEP

SPORTS NEWS

  • The North Pocono Trojans beat the Scranton Knights 10-0 in five innings on Saturday at Bruggeworth Field (Nick Reese hit a two-run homer to spark the mercy rule win). The Trojans remain undefeated and will travel to Abington Heights Tuesday for a key matchup.  WNEP
