Bells tolled at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Scranton as locals mourned Pope Francis on Easter Monday and prayed during daily mass.

A Diocesan Memorial Mass will be held today at 12:10 p.m. at the cathedral—church leaders said the service will honor his legacy.

Scranton police charged 20-year-old Ezequiel Soto after an April 17 undercover sting—where officers responded to his social media ad for marijuana sales and he tried to flee by hitting a patrol car—that led to a search recovering 148 grams from his bedroom, 42 grams from his dresser, and 14 grams from his vehicle along with narcotic packaging and a digital scale while he now faces charges of aggravated assault on police, drug possession, and related offenses.
