- ➤ College students at the University of Scranton are building customized cars for children with disabilities as part of the free Go Baby Go program funded by the Edward Leahy endowment—over 60 students have worked with nine local families to design rides with joystick steering and hand accelerators, and the vehicles will be unveiled at the Byron Center on Sunday from noon to 4:00 p.m. PA Homepage
- ➤ The Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank celebrated its 10th anniversary by unveiling a new 15,000-square-foot expansion in Pittston—designed to boost volunteer packing for residents across Lackawanna, Luzerne, Susquehanna and Wyoming counties.
