  • Steamtown National Historic Site will host the historic Big Boy 4014 locomotive on June 13, marking the first time in decades that two classic engines appear together in Scranton + the restoration work honors America’s rail heritage and invites visitors of all ages to witness living history.  FOX 56

  • During stroke awareness month, Dr. Kerstin Bettermann at UPMC urges local residents to use BE FAST guidelines and call 911 immediately if they notice signs like slurred speech or weakness (quick treatment can prevent lasting brain injury) while emphasizing a healthy lifestyle to reduce risk.  WNEP
  • Scranton's Engles family donated AED machines to local youth leagues, and 3-year-old Tate (Heart Hero) will lead the Northeast PA Heart Walk at PNC Field today. The donation aims to help protect young athletes and enhance community safety.  WVIA
