Downtown Scranton will host the Armed Forces Day Parade on Saturday to honor local troops and celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

A 5k race starts at 9 a.m. and festivities will include military displays and a block party at Courthouse Square (with a sensory block on Wyoming Avenue).

North Main Avenue is closed between Green Ridge and Clearview for sinkhole repairs linked to a previous water main break.
