- ➤ A fundraiser in Duryea raised money to help cover Jeff Pisanchyn's medical bills after his heart surgery and blood cancer treatment last Saturday. The event at the VFW featured raffles, a live band and a classic car and motorcycle show supported by family and friends. WNEP
- ➤ Scranton held its traditional Armed Forces Day parade today to honor active service members + veterans at the Geno Merli Veterans Center on Penn Avenue, where community groups and bands marched in a decades-long tradition. The event celebrated local pride and enduring support for military service. WNEP

- ➤ The America250PA tour sold out its June 27 Pittsburgh show, but Wilkes-Barre will host a free concert with Lady A, En Vogue and Carson Kressley on June 20. Organizers remind fans to register soon as tickets remain required. FOX 56
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Crews will repair a sinkhole along North Main Avenue from 7 a.m. Thursday to Friday evening, closing the road between Green Ridge Street and Clearview Street. Flaggers will direct traffic to Providence Road, the Biden Expressway, and West Market Street. WNEP
