- ➤ Scranton City Council met Tuesday to discuss homelessness and review a task force working to connect unsheltered residents with housing, food, and health services. Some council members urged more direct outreach through screenings and boots on the ground to tackle rising homelessness. FOX 56
- ➤ U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins met local farmers yesterday at Applewood Farm in Scott Twp as she signed a disaster declaration to ease losses from an April frost that hit Monroe County and 16 other counties.
