  • Father O’Reilly’s remains were moved from Nativity of Our Lord Church to Sacred Hearts Cemetery after a quiet procession through Scranton as the church he built prepares to close for good. A final mass will be held today at 11 a.m.—marking his enduring legacy in the community.  FOX 56
  • In Scranton’s Keyser Valley, heavy rain on Saturday raised flash flood fears as DPW crews cleared drains and set up hoses to pump water out.   • A Spring Brook Township boy was killed in an ATV crash on Friday evening in Jefferson Township just off Stevens Road—state police are investigating the death as an accident.  PA Homepage
  • A woman was hit by a vehicle at the Wyoming and Mulberry intersection Saturday morning in Scranton (she was taken to a hospital with minor injuries) and police said the cause of the crash remains unknown (no further details have been provided).  WNEP
