- ➤ On Sunday, hundreds gathered for a final mass at Nativity of Our Lord Church on Orchard Street after the Diocese announced its closure, ending a century-long chapter. Parishioners, including 92-year-old Paul Bracey who locked the doors for the last time, then walked to Sacred Heart on Prospect Avenue—holding cherished memories—and setting course for a fresh start. - ➤ More than 200 residents participated in the inaugural Move with Moosic 5K run/walk in Triboro on Sunday, starting at the Moosic Youth Center and following a route through the borough that ended where it began— organizers raised over $40,000 to fund improvements for public parks and green spaces.
