- ➤ Gov. Josh Shapiro addressed West Scranton High School graduates on Wednesday night. He shared how early setbacks—like flunking out of his pre-med program and being cut from the basketball team—led him to follow his own path and announced a 38% rise in state funding that will upgrade local school facilities.
