- ➤ The 12th Annual Jewish Food Festival begins this Sunday at Nay Aug Park in Scranton. The event will last 4 days and feature traditional dishes such as knishes and stuffed grape leaves + new entertainment with tight rope walkers, pony rides and live challah bread braiding while funds support programs at the Jewish Discovery Center. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Luzerne County will sue Keystone Mission to reclaim ARPA funds after its Innovation Center in Wilkes-Barre—housing a shelter—announces it will close on July 10, leading to staff layoffs starting on July 19. Keystone Mission is working to relocate nearly 70 guests and will see its interim director step down on Aug. 1 once the transition is complete. WVIA
