- ➤ Today, Hanover Township’s Big Tent Bazaar begins at Exaltation of the Holy Cross under a big white tent — a decades-old tradition that started at the old Sans Souci park — as volunteers worked late last night to set up the event. The bazaar will run through Sunday and draw thousands of residents to enjoy homemade foods and reconnect with local heritage. WNEP
- ➤ Scranton’s Co-Op Farmer’s Market opened its 86th season with vendors selling fresh fruits, vegetables and baked goods from local farms. Linda Gongliewski drove nearly an hour to shop — and market president Logan Brace said the vendor-run market will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at noon through November. WNEP
- ➤ Campers at Camp Weston washed cars today to raise money for Friends of the Poor as part of a community service project organized by Scranton Parks and Recreation—organizers say the proceeds will support a local food pantry. FOX 56
- ➤ The Lackawanna County Library has launched its Bookmobile to bring books and resources to neighborhoods—its second stop was yesterday at the Nancy Kay Holmes Branch in Scranton. Five more stops are planned later in July with free Wi-Fi and computer access available. FOX 56
