- ➤ Meteorologist Joe Snedeker began day two of his charity bike ride along the Susquehanna from Riverside at Borough Park, riding through towns like Danville, Northumberland, and Sunbury before stopping at Selinsgrove Commons and finishing at the Montour-Delong Community Fair in Washingtonville. Today he will ride through the northern tier from Eagles Mere to Howard Elmer Park in Sayre - all to benefit St. Joseph's Center. WNEP
- ➤ Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Wilkes-Barre held a food sale on Monday that raised funds to cover hotel costs for the Wyoming Valley Challenger Team’s four‑day trip to Williamsport for a Little League World Series exhibition game in August — local residents turned out in strong numbers — and team officials say the sale is key to helping the kids reach their dream.
