- ➤ Local events this weekend offer community fun — the Moscow Country Street Fair runs from Thursday through Saturday with parades and games, while Lehighton Christmas in July on Saturday brings festive shopping and a special visit from the North Pole. - ➤ On July 20, around midnight, police in Dunmore arrested Scranton man Jose Eduardo Perez-Moya after he reached for a handgun during a traffic stop—officers said he had threatened a woman and later confirmed the gun was unloaded—and he now faces charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and simple assault.
