- ➤ Hundreds of readers attended the first Electric City Love Con — held at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel in Scranton — where over 100 romance authors signed books and shared recommendations. WVIA
- ➤ Yesterday, the NEPA Philharmonic performed at Lackawanna County Children's Library in a special event titled Once Upon an Orchestra that featured a live reading of What Do You Do With an Idea by Kobi Yamada and a string quartet — two violins, one viola and one cello — to spark interest in music and literature. - ➤ Students at Penn State Wilkes-Barre say that small classes and one-to-one instruction are fading—empty classrooms, shifting schedules, and fewer professors leave many feeling the campus is shutting down.
