- ➤ Artur Zelenko, a 17-year-old senior at Wyoming Seminary who fled Ukraine after bombings in February 2022, has raised $700 through his Rebuild Ukraine campaign to support soldiers and rebuild homes in his native land—he now studies and plays soccer in Luzerne County while planning more fundraising efforts for Ukraine's future recovery. - ➤ Crowds gathered in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre on Sunday to honor late political activist Charlie Kirk—who was shot and killed at Utah Valley University—and signed a card and petition to end political violence. PA Homepage
- ➤ A vigil for the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk was held on Sunday at the Lackawanna County Courthouse in Scranton after he was shot and killed at a university event in Utah last week — organizers said many community members gathered to honor his memory. WNEP
