- ➤ Allied Services Hospice has started a program to thank veterans in their final days by placing volunteers at their bedsides. The hospice will host its annual 5K and all abilities walk this Sunday in Scranton — a fundraiser that calls for more volunteers. WNEP
- ➤ The Greater Scranton YMCA in Dunmore is holding its inaugural Halloween Costume Drive — accepting donations from Monday, September 22 until Monday, October 6 and letting families pick up costumes from October 7 until October 9.
