- ➤ Circle Drive-In holds its Flea Fair & Farmers Market every Sunday through mid-November—local vendors offer harvest treasures, fresh produce, handmade crafts and food from the concession stand. - ➤ Nearly 200 runners and walkers took part in Team Allied Services' 5K and All-Abilities Walk on Sunday at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Scranton, raising funds to support pediatric services for about 1,200 children. Organizers said the event will help build awareness and that Team Allied Services plans to run in the TCS New York City Marathon in November—promoting ongoing community health programs. PA Homepage

- ➤ Lackawanna Trail High School played its homecoming football game after a safety scare when a student climbed a building and made disturbing remarks, causing the game to be postponed from Friday to Sunday.
