- ➤ Valley in Motion is studying a half-mile trail that will connect Connell Park to Pinchot State Forest—local residents and housing groups have offered ideas to improve safety and access to outdoor recreation. The project is part of a plan to link nearby public housing with green spaces and boost the neighborhood's well-being. WVIA
- ➤ At Clarks Summit United Methodist Church, more than 40 vendors sold handmade items like candles and dolls at the Fall Craft Fair, drawing local shoppers and visitors from out of state. Funds raised support church operations — organizers plan a second fair in April. PA Homepage

- ➤ 28/22 News Weekend Anchor Mark Hiller visited Dickson City Saturday for a reading appreciation event at Viewmont Mall — organized by Keystone State Literacy Association NEPA, he read to children and shared free books and crafts. - ➤ Today, the 28th Steamtown Marathon will start bright and early from Forest City High School — finishing at Courthouse Square as more than 1,000 runners and visitors ready themselves for a busy weekend in Scranton.
