- ➤ Valley in Motion is studying a half-mile trail that will connect Connell Park to Pinchot State Forest—local residents and housing groups have offered ideas to improve safety and access to outdoor recreation. - ➤ 28/22 News Weekend Anchor Mark Hiller visited Dickson City Saturday for a reading appreciation event at Viewmont Mall — organized by Keystone State Literacy Association NEPA, he read to children and shared free books and crafts. - ➤ Today, the 28th Steamtown Marathon will start bright and early from Forest City High School — finishing at Courthouse Square as more than 1,000 runners and visitors ready themselves for a busy weekend in Scranton.
