- ➤ The 30-year Peckville Christmas House lights up Marion Street with over 3,500 blow molds and decorations and is open nightly through Jan. 7; it runs Monday to Thursday (5 to 9 p.m.) and Friday to Sunday (5 to 10 p.m.). WNEP
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lackawanna County and Scranton have activated a Code Blue alert for dangerous cold tonight from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. through Saturday, Dec. 13 (with emergency shelters open at St. Anthony’s Haven, Weston Field House, and the Community Intervention Center). FOX 56
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Wright Center will build a new 8,000 sqft health center next to its current North Scranton facility+ construction is set to begin this winter and finish by the end of 2026, with the existing site converted into a parking area. PA Homepage
