  • A banner honoring President Biden on North Washington Avenue has sparked debate in Green Ridge as some veterans question its use, saying the display is meant only for military service. EDUCATION NEWS

  • High schools have embraced bocce as an inclusive sport for students with disabilities through Special Olympics Pennsylvania’s Unified Bocce League, which promotes teamwork & friendship. On Tuesday, the Abington Heights Comets played against the Carbondale Chargers, highlighting a creative way to include all students in sports.  FOX 56

  • Valley Running Company hosted its second annual Ugly Sweater 5K on Wednesday evening in Forty Fort where about a dozen runners celebrated with festive costumes and dessert sharing. The company will begin weekly community runs every Wednesday at 6 p.m.  FOX 56
