Santa toured local neighborhoods escorted by the Scranton Fire Department & Pennsylvania State Police during the annual Sidewalk Santa event on Saturday, Dec.

20. The tour began at 11 a.m. and ended at 4 p.m., with families enjoying special treat bags at 11 stops.

Luzerne County partnered with Midwest Food Bank + Fork Over Love on Saturday at the Zarra Building in Pittston to distribute hot meals and produce, including eggs, milk, and vegetables, to over 60 cars.

Organizers plan additional distributions to support local families this winter.
