  • Providence Pregnancy Center in Scranton is underway with Phase 2 renovations at Casa de Maria Maternity Home — it has launched a brick campaign inviting locals to purchase personalized engraved bricks to fund a prayer garden and essential improvements.  FOX 56
  • Specialty Physical Therapy is hosting its annual Blanket Drive for Our Homeless Neighbors by collecting used blankets, comforters and tents through December 31. Donations can be dropped off at its office or at Christ United Methodist Church in Mountain Top.  FOX 56

  • Lackawanna College has named veteran coach Mark Ross as the new head football coach to lead the team in its move to NCAA Division II athletics effective immediately; he replaces coach Mark Duda (after 32 seasons).  WVIA
